The “Substance Use” Measure prompts participants to report their current drug use, drug use during the past 30 days, drug use during the past 12 months, and age at which they first tried various drugs. It also prompts them to report how many of their friends use drugs, and how often they use drugs.
This measure is from the Health Behavior in School-Aged Children survey, which assesses participants’ attitudes and experiences on a wide range of health-related behaviors and lifestyle choices.
